Dyer cites a source saying the 23-year-old is being tracked by West Ham and Fulham, among others and that “a couple Bundesliga clubs” are also interested.
The Union paid an undisclosed transfer fee to Würzburger Kickers to acquire Wagner ahead of the 2019 season, Sporting Director Ernst Tanner’s first full season at the helm. He’s played 44 regulars games over two seasons but has battled injuries this season. After missing the first two games of the regular season he’s been out of the lineup seven additional times.
Matt Real started five of those matches, Olivier Mbaizo the other two.
