Philadelphia Union trio earn 2020 MLS Best XI Recognition
The Philadelphia Union, who recorded the best overall record in Major League Soccer over the 2020 season, placed three players on the Best XI, including goalkeeper Andre Blake, the winner of the 2020 Allstate MLS Goalkeeper of the Year. Blake recorded a league best 0.88 goals against average as he was named to the MLS Best XI for a second time.
Philadelphia Union need to beat New England one more time
New England advanced out of the play-in round with a 95th minute winner from Gustavo Bou to beat the Montreal Impact on Friday night. Nashville SC won the other play-in match 3-0 over Inter Miami.

This year’s list includes: the Defender of the Year (Walker Zimmerman), Goalkeeper of the Year (Andre Blake) and Young Player of the Year (Diego Rossi).
Nagbe wins Goal of the Year; Room wins Save of the Year
This is the second time in MLS history that members of the same team won both the goal and save of the year awards. In 2017, Atlanta United players won both awards with Brad Guzan winning the Save of the Year and Hector Villalba taking the Goal of the Year.
