Full Time. The Union looked like they might pull one out in stoppage time but they should feel satisfied with the point given what transpired. Tough result all the same though especially on a night when Toronto tied and Columbus lost.

90’+1 The Union with some momentum with one of the five minutes of extra time gone. Ilsinho had a shot saved by Seitz.

88’ MARK MCKENZIE with a blast to tie the game. Ilsinho somehow kept the ball in play and it ended up at Mark’s feet for the rocket to make it 2-2.

76’ Bedoya was also booked on the handball so he’ll miss the next game.

75’ Yamil Asad does well on the penalty and just like that DC is up 2-1. Whaaaa happened?

73’ Penalty to DC United for a handball call on Bedoya after video review.

71’ Donovan Pines levels the score at 1-1 off a corner kick.

50’ Happy Birthday, Anthony Fontana. He finishes off a bizarre play with a goal to put the Union up 1-0. His fifth goal of the season.

46’ Second half underway. Julian Gressel on for D.C. for Edison Flores.

Halftime

42’ Blake with a big save to deny Canouse. Sergio Santos goes in the book after a foul just outside the corner of the 18.

31’ Fisher with a ball played into the center of the box to Kamara but he skies the shot

24’ The Union get a shot on goal after Fontana sets up Jamiro and Seitz makes a meal of the save, but no one is able to punish him for it.

15’ A Union thrown-in ends up in another nervy moment for the Union but both cracks at the goal are blocked and the danger is averted.

11’ Chris Seitz is mentioned for the first time tonight. The Philadelphia Union original is best known for what he’s done off the field, donating bone marrow. Steven Goff recently did an update on that story you’ll want to bookmark if you haven’t read it.

5’ Dangerous ball there played through the box by Fisher. If Sorga gets a touch that’s 1-0 D.C.

Starting Lineups

According to the graphic, the Union are back in a 4-4-2 with Alejandro Bedoya at the 6, but it will be interesting to see how that plays out, especially with Bedoya a yellow away from earning another suspension. Ilsinho is available off the bench after getting banged up on Sunday but Gaddis, Glesnes and Creavalle are all out injured.
