After a quick check of his wikipedia page, he is listed at 6'2" which would offer so decent height up top but probably not the change of pace player Curtin is/was looking for. My fear ultimately is that he'll be yet another target forward type on the team that pretty much ONLY has target forward types. Admittedly though, I'm assuming that at 6'2" he doesn't have speed, so maybe he'll surprise me. He'll supposedly be flying in to Philly for a physical and then join the team in florida by the end of the week if all goes well. Apparently, he helped Nantes achieve promotion into Ligue 1 last year, and has scored 9 goals in 44 appearances for the team, though has only seen scant playing time since the promotion. If acquired, he'll count as a Young DP which will offer a little more flexibility with the cap. European transfer sites list his value at around $1 million. Because of his Venezuelan roots, he'll also count against the international roster slots...
