Central Bucks East star Evan Vare and Haverford School and Union Academy midfielder Shane Bradley were named to USA Today’s all-USA team for boys soccer.
Vare, who led Central Bucks East to a perfect 26-0 record last fall, was named to the first team. The forward, who finished the year with 42 goals and 13 assists and a state title, is heading to Lafayette in the fall.
Vare’s coach, Mike Gorni, was named all-USA boys soccer coach of the year for guiding the Doylestown school to a perfect record, which was capped off by a 2-0 win over Seneca Valley in the Class AAA state final.
Shane Bradley was named to the second team. He and his twin brother Conor Bradley helped lead The Haverford School to an Independent Schools title last fall and both have been back with the Union U18 team for the second part of the season. They are heading to Villanova this fall.
Penn State commit Frankie de la Camara from Miami was also among the first-team selections.
