Paxten Aaronson scored his second goal of the Next Pro season and Matt Freese recorded his second clean sheet of the season in Philadelphia Union II’s third straight win on Monday night.
Aaronson scored the game’s only goal in the 51st minute and Freese had to make a couple big saves to secure the clean sheet. Union II improved to 4-1-2 on the season (1-2 on PKs) with their third straight win.
In addition Freese, head coach Marlon LeBlanc’s starting lineup included first team players Brandan Craig, Anton Sorenson, Jack McGlynn and Jesus Bueno. Aaronson subbed into the match at halftime for McGlynn.
