Atlanta United names Garth Lagerwey as President and CEO
Lagerwey comes to Atlanta after a very successful run in Seattle where he led the Sounders to the 2022 Concacaf Champions League title earlier this year, as well as MLS Cup championships in 2019 and 2016 and made the MLS Cup final on two other occasions. His Sounders team also reached the Leagues Cup Final in 2021.
Crew trade Artur to Houston Dynamo for $350,000 in allocation money
Artur, 26 years old, played six seasons for the Crew, tallying two goals and nine assists in just under 11,000 minutes. He appeared in 138 games (124 starts) in MLS regular season play for the club. Artur helped the Black & Gold win the 2020 MLS Cup, as well as two additional playoff appearances.
Orlando City Signs Midfielder Felipe Martins

2022 MLS Re-Entry Draft Stage 2: Which players were picked?
Those picked in Stage 2 do not necessarily have to sign with the club that selected them. When a player is selected, the drafting club is required to make a genuine offer to the player within seven days. If an agreement cannot be reached between the drafting club and the player, the drafting club will hold the Right of First Refusal for that player in MLS.
