90+8’ - Ref blows the final whistle. Union come back in the 85’ to earn a road point.
90+5’ - Santos is pushed down by Edwards and the assistant referee goes running down the line to get between the two players. Lots of tempers flaring between the two teams here and now the assistant ref and the ref are huddled together. We get two yellow cards given out here. Looks like Monteiro was shown a yellow, which puts him out for the next game.
90+4’ - Red Bulls with a free kick that is top right of the box, about 25 yards away from the net the service is cleared for a corner kick. The kick is also handled and cleared by the Union for a Red Bulls throw in.
90+2’ - Santos tracks down the ball and does a standing tackle to win the turnover. He then dribbles down the center of the pitch and gets a shot off but it is saved.
90’ - Santos draws a free kick to the left side of the box. Monteiro is standing over the ball and really messes up the chance by sending it past the far post and out for a goal kick.
We also will have SEVEN minutes of stoppage time.
87’ - Play is still 10v10 as Red Bull’s Tolkin is still on the sideline being looked at by the training staff. He is now being subbed out. Red bulls make a double switch here.
85’- Play resumes and a quick restart by the Union. Bedoya throws it to Mbaizo, who chips it into the the penalty area and it finds the top of Santos’ head for a GOAL.
82’ - Bendik comes off his line to defend a chip shot by the red bulls. Przybylko is heated as the play is stopped after a head collision between a red bulls’ Duncan and Kacper. He is still walking around and mouthing off.
77’ - Red bulls still have a player down and the Red Bulls are making two changes here. Carmona is subbed off and now is on the sideline stretching out his leg. He was also one of the subs made by the Red bulls.
74’ - Curtin is taking Flach off the field and bringing on the fresh legs of Santos.
73’ - Glesnes with the nice sliding tackle to clear the ball out of danger. Union look to be getting ready to make their second change of the match.
63’ - Wagner is down on the pitch and is shaken up about after backing into a Red Bulls player near the center line.
60’ - Red Bull penalty kick is in the back of the net after Bendik guesses wrong and dives right.
57’ - Terrible mistake by Freese and Glesnes. He plays the ball way shot and Freese mtries to play it behind him and then interferes with a possible shot. Freese earns a straight red for wrapping his arms around the player. Bendik comes in and Gazdag comes out of the game.
55’ - Wagner draws a foul earn a free kick from a great spot. It is about 12 yards about the top center of the box. Monteiro and Glesnes are over it. Glesnes sends the shot right into the wall.
52’ - Interesting move here bu the Red Bulls, taking Yearwood off the pitch 6 minutes into the half. Playing it safe so he doesn’t put the team down a man by picking up a yellow, he was close a few minutes ago.
51’ - U play the corner short and get a cross over to the far post to Gazdag who heads it directly into the goalkeeper.
50’ -Monteiro settles the ball at the top of the box, shifts it onto the left foot and gets a ball on frame. It is stopped by the goalkeeper and goes out for a corner.
46’ - Second half underway. About a minute into the half we have a foul committed by the U inside Red Bulls penalty area. The player is still on down on the ground holding his knee.
45+4’ - Union with a corner kick, with what should be the final play of the half. Service from Wagner gets bounced around inside the 6, with plenty of Union players getting good looks on the net but it eventually is blocked and then the U commit a foul outside the penalty area. Ref whistles for half time.
45+2’ - Red Bulls’ Yearwood earns a yellow card after a terrible charge and leaning into Monteiro for I guess a tackle, I mean it was more of a wrestling move on the pitch.
45’ - Fourth official has signaled there would be a minimum of 2 minutes.
42’ - We have our first booking of the day as Mbaizo gets a yellow for clearly a late challenge.
40’ - Flach trying to turn on the far sideline, but instead ends up turning it over in the defensive end. Thankfully the shot goes wide and ends up as a goal kick. Off the kick Przybylko is flagged for offsides.
37’ - Union with another corner here. The Monteiro service bounces and is untouched by a union player again. This time the Union are able to pick it up still in the attacking zone. The sequence ended with Red Bulls earning a goal kick off a wide shot from Elliott.

35’ - Union earn a corner from the right flag here. Service is sent in from Monteiro and it is curled right to the middle but no Union player was on the receiving end. Instead it turns into a counter for red bull whose shot gets blocked by Elliott.
34’ - Good defense from the Union here, as they affect the shooter whose body was going away from goal. So his shot amounted into an easy catch for Freese.
32’ - Flach finds some space the top center of the box and he puts a shot on frame, but it is easily handled by the red bulls goalkeeper.
29’ - Good passing and spacing by the Union here. Gazdag lays it off and Martinez takes a long range shot and it goes high over everything. After the missed attempt, a lot of the Union players looked like they were questioning the move.
24’ - Martinez showing off mad skills. He popped up the ball with his right foot and then sent it up the field with his left.
