Game Updates

90+4’ - Thankfully we had some great performances from the subs, who were able to get the game leveled.

90+3’ - Przybylko’s header from the right side of the box just misses the net. Game still 1-1.

90+1- There will be at least 4 minutes left in this game. Also Ilsinho is down on the field after getting hit in the face. Training staff is now on the pitch looking at him.

87’ - Final subs for the night for Miami

85’ - WE ARE TIED! Sullivan with a shot on goal but it gets deflects and hits off of Przybylko to go into the net for a goal. After a quick VAR check it is confirmed to be a good goal.

83’ - Union earn a corner from the far flag, it is sent into the box and cleared by Miami. We also have a double sub here for Philly. Ilsinho comes on for Mbazio (another typical 90 minute player) and then McGlynn takes over for Flach.

78’ - Double sub here for Miami as Robinson and Higuain comes off for Chapman and Vassilev.

76’ - Another typical all 90 minute player comes off as Quinn Sullivan replaces Bedoya

75’ - Two more chances Miami had to go up by 2...but can’t get a good finish on.

71’ - U’s defense looks bad as Robinson has nothing but space and is able to get behind the defense. He has a 1v1 with Freese who goes down and deflects the ball into the net. Miami goes up 1-0.

67’ - Union with a long throw-in gets it into the box, as the U pass it around the last touch is too hard and goes past the U.

65’ - Miami with another corner from the near flag. They play it short and eventually get a shot off that goes high above the post.

62’ - Santos is coming on for Monteiro, who typically plays the entire game, so Miro looked a little shocked when his number was on the board.

56’ - Mbaizo shown a yellow for tracking down a Miami player and clipping him on the back of the foot... I think.

52’ - Miami deciding to make an early change here bringing in the veteran Brek Shea for Gibbs.

50’ - Miami earns a corner kick here. Service will come from the near flag. It is sent across and cleared out. Glesnes is down and slow to get up. Bit all looks to be okay as he is back up now.

46’ - Game resumes with the ball getting kicked at 8:42 PM.

45+3’ - Union earn a corner kick here. Wagner from the near flag sends it into the center of the box. Miami gets a head on it and clears it out of the box. Before they can start an attack, the ref blows his whistle for half time.

45+2’ - Fourth official signals a minimum of 3 minutes here is stoppage.

45’ - Union are lucky here and the defense collapses. Miami’s Robinson fumbles trying to get the ball to come off his right foot and Freese is able to shut it down.

42’ - Miami calling for a PK after the ball hits off of Wagner’s upper arm. Ref is having none of it and gives the corner kick. Kick was handled easily by the U.

30’ - Higuaín gets free and is able to get a shot off and misses it, after the play the assistant ref’s flag comes up to signal he was offisides.

29’ - Not going to lie, Miami with a great cross to the far post but only Glesnes was around and was able to get a head on it to force it out for a corner. The service is played to the near post and Union are able to clear it out.

23’ - Monteiro crosses it into the box for Bedoya, who tries to get a shot off but misses. There has been plenty of chances for the U so far in the game.

20’ - Martinez is back on the pitch.

19’ - Santos is up and warming up, as the training staff continues to look at el Brujo. Also Mr. Beckham is in the house tonight.

16’ - Miami attacking the back line by passing the ball from one side to the other. All the back and forth leaves Higuain open who gets a shot off, but it is saved by Freese. We also have a stop in play as Martinez is on the ground after colliding with a Miami player.

14’ - Przybyko sends yet another shot towards the net, this time from outside the box, but it is wide of the net.

10’ - Inter Miami with the night’s first corner. Service comes from the far flag, the ball is curled into the center of the box. The ball is headed twice onto goal but Freese is able to grab it.

8’ - Union earn a free kick after Wagner gets thrown down trying to get on a ball on the left side of the box. 2 are in the wall for Miami. Monteiro keeps it on the ground and sends the ball to to the of the box, where Przybylko takes a quick shot at it goes sky high over the net.

5’ - Monteiro finds a streaking Wagner on the left side of the box. Fancy footwork by Wagner trying to get it to the top of the box but it gets deflected by a sliding Miami player.

3’ - Gazdag finds great space and fires one off, however it is saved by the goalkeeper.

1’ - The game is now underway. Union in the dark blue kits and are attacking right to left in the first half.
