West Chester United will have another busy weekend as both their USL League Two and NPSL teams look to advance in the playoffs, but they won’t be the only club in the region looking to make a postseason run.

Ocean City Nor’easters, which finished second to West Chester in the Mid Atlantic Conference of USL2 will play Boston Bolts in the second game of a doubleheader at Evergreen Sportsplex in Leesburg, Virginia on Saturday night. West Chester United plays the New York Red Bulls U23s in the first game at 5 p.m. The winners will meet the next day for the Eastern Conference semifinals.

West Chester United’s NPSL playoff campaign starts Friday night at home against FC Monmouth at 7:30 p.m. in the Keystone Conference semifinal. West Chester United won the regular season title, but they’ll need a win over FC Monmouth and another win over the winner of the other Friday semifinal between Atlantic City FC and FC Motown (7 p.m. at Egg Harbor Township High School) to claim the postseason crown. The final will be hosted Sunday by the higher seed.

Third-seeded Philadelphia Lone Star, which moved from the Keystone Conference to the Mid-Atlantic Conference this season, has already started their postseason with a 3-2 win over Northern Virginia United on Wednesday. They play top-seeded FC Baltimore Christos on Saturday night at 7 p.m. at CCBC Essex in Maryland.
