The Union earned their spot in the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League Semifinals by taking down Deportivo Saprissa by a 5-0 margin over the two legs of the Round of 16. The Union then followed up the performance with a 4-1 aggregate result in the Quarterfinals against Atlanta United FC.
Two Union matches rescheduled due to SCCL
The Union’s road contest at FC Cincinnati has been moved from Saturday, August 14 to Saturday, October 9 at 7:30 p.m. In addition, the Union’s home match against the New England Revolution has been moved from Wednesday, September 15 to Friday, September 3.

The LA Galaxy announced a new signing on Thursday, of midfielder Rayan Raveloson from French outfit ES Troyes AC, on a three-year contract with an option for an additional year. The 24-year-old helped Troyes win Ligue 2 this season and thus promotion to Ligue 1 next campaign
Dynamo and Dash being sold to new ownership for nearly $400 million
Ted Segal has reached an agreement to buy the Houston Dynamo FC and Houston Dash from controlling owner Gabriel Brener. Segal is the founder and president of New York City-based EJS Group, a real estate development and finance company.

Barcelona finalising deal to sign Sergio Aguero from Manchester City
