Game Updates

90+4’ - Final whistle at 9:31 pm. Union probably could have done better but at least they reacted after conceding the late goal.

90+3’ - Blake makes a nice standing wall save and it goes out for a corner. The kick is driven into the near post and is easily cleared out by the boys in blue.

90+1’ - We will see at least 4 minutes in stoppage time.

90’ - The goal is ruled good. Jamiro takes the ball near the far flag and crosses it in and it goes out of play. Play is held up and Burke is down on the field.

88’ - Przybylko goes vertical and over the goalkeeper and wins the ball as Turner goes down to the ground. Then Przybylko goes back up and heads the ball into the back of the net. Union tie the game 1-1.

85’ - I hate Teal! Bunbury falling down to the ground controls his shot and gets his shot pass Blake. Revs up 1-0.

84’ Union pushing forward with Jim motioning all of his players up field. However the overload turns into just a foul committed by the U at the halfway line.

79’ - Revs make another double switch here. Pulling McNamara and putting in Polster, for Traustason they put on Kizza.

76’ - SAVES by Blake. The man stretches out to keep the game leveled. The ball is rebounded but Glesnes gets to it first.

73’ - Missed chance! Fontana slips it to Burke who falls down as he was trying to take a shot. Ends up being a goal kick.

71’ - Przybylko goes for a challenge and ends up with a yellow card. The third of the night for the Union.

69’ - The ball finds Fontana at the top center of the box, who tries to smash it into the net... but it is blocked by a revs player.

67’ - Revs making a double sub here. Bou replaces Buksa and then Bunbury comes on for Buchanan

65’ - Revs crossing the ball from the far side into the box, however it does not connect with anyone and goes wide of the net and out for a Blake goal kick.

58’ - Kacper finds an open Santos who is flagged for offsides. He is now subbed off for Burke. Union also brings on the Rev killer Fontana for the boys in blue youngest player McGlynn.

55’ - Union have yet another corner here, this time from the far side. Monteiro is lining up for the corner. He plays it out to Wagner whose cross is blocked and the Revs are on the counter. But can’t get anything going because Flach is able to cut the field off.

52’ - Bedoya with a nice sliding challenge sends the ball out for a throw in. After the throw in Monteiro slips into New England’s Jones and earns a Yellow card.

49’ - Revs on the attack with numbers here and thanks to the running Blake the shot goes wide over the net.

46’ - Game resumes at 8:41. No subs made during the half.

45+2’ - Ref whistles for Halftime. That happened at 8:25 pm.

45+1’ - There will be at least 2 minutes of stoppage time here.

45’ - Flach from the left side of the penalty area takes the shot. However it goes wide of the net.

41’ - Union trying to move the ball up the right sideline. However a heavy touch leads to a goal kick.

37’ - Play is stopped as Santos is on the ground after he gets kicked in the leg when both players went up for a ball. Play resumes as Santos gets back up and tries to walk it off.

33’ - Buchanan does some ‘selling’ moves and goes down on the pitch. The move ends up earning Wagner a yellow card.

29’ - Another no call against Pryzbylko, who appears to be hit taken down inside the box. On the counter attack the Rev push up and puts a challenging shot on Blake. Blake does some acrobatic moves and saves the shot.

25’ - Another promising attack for the U as Mbaizo tries to push a ball through to a free Santos, however he is ruled offsides.

22’ - Promising Attack for the U. Bedoya comes from the right side and passes it to the top center of the box to a streaking Monteiro. However the shot is low and doesn’t challenge Turner at all.

20’ - Good chance here on the turnover on the Rev’s side of the field. However Turner comes rushing off his line towards Santos to end any shot possibility.

18’ - U have their first corner of the night. It’s a quality service from the far flag, but it is easily handled by the Rev’s goalkeeper.

15’ - Union with a free kick from the left side of the net. After a nice trick play, where the ball is kicked behind him to Wagner. The ref blows the whistle to make the U re-take the kick. After the re-kick the service is sent curling into the far post area, however the flag is up for offsides.

8’ - Play is stopped as the Union sends the ball out of play because Mbaizo is down inside the rev’s penalty area. Replay shows him losing balance and goes down. He is now up running to the sideline with the training staff.

6’ - Kacper in the center of the box is taken down by the rev’s box. The ref does not signal for a PK and she drops the ball for play to resume. Plenty of boos from the home crowd.
