After a 3-3 comeback at Hartford Athletic and a 4-2 comeback win on Sunday at home against Loudoun United, Philadelphia Union II will play their final scheduled friendly with a USL Championship opponent tomorrow at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh.
The game against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds kicks off at 1 p.m. and there’s no indication that it will be streamed.
The Union II overcame a 2-1 deficit after the first half (Brandan Craig opened the scoring with a free kick after having a penalty kick saved) with three second half goals to win 4-2 on Sunday against Loudoun United at the Power Training Complex. Cole Turner, Anthony Ramirez and trialist Ryan Kingsford all scored in the second half.
Rookie homegrown defender Nathan Harriel joined Craig and Turner in the starting lineup.

With the USL Championship and USL League One seasons both underway, it’s not clear what the Union 2 schedule will look like going forward.
So far in 2021, Union 2 has a 3-0-0 record against amateur teams and a 1-1-1 record against professional sides in games where scores have been publicized.
