Union 2 comes from behind to draw Hartford Athletic 3-3

Stafford, Sullivan and Borgelin scored in the mid-day friendly in Connecticut

Caden Stafford, Quinn Sullivan and Shanyder Borgelin scored to earn the Philadelphia Union II a hard fought come-from-behind 3-3 draw in a mid-day friendly at Hartford Athletic on Wednesday.

Head coach Marlon LeBlanc brought seven first team players with him for the friendly against the USL Championship side, including goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh, who showed well early to keep the deficit to just one after an early goal from Bradford Jamison IV.

Ranjitsingh, Brandan Craig and Jack McGlynn all put in a 90-minute shift while Nathan Harriel, Cole Turner and Quinn Sullivan played 74 minutes. Trialist Ryan Kingsford (Harcum College / West Chester United) replaced Paxten Aaronson in the 70th minute.

Union II returns home Sunday for an afternoon friendly against Loudoun United at the Power Training Center.
