The Philadelphia Union will be returning to Atlanta later this month for the first time since their playoff defeat there in October 2019, aiming to keep their first Concacaf Champions League campaign moving in the right direction.
The Union advanced to face their Eastern Conference rivals in the two-leg quarterfinal after defeating Costa Rican club Saprissa 4-0 at home and 5-0 on aggregate. Atlanta United advanced out of their Round of 16 against Saprissa’s rivals Alajuelense with a pair of 1-0 wins.
Before they head to Atlanta to play either on April 27, 28 or 29, the Union will open the MLS season on the road at Columbus Crew and host Inter Miami back in Chester on April 24.
They’ll host NYCFC on May 1 in league play in between the first and second leg, which will be played at Subaru Park on May 4, 5 or 6.
