How to watch: A city six matchup between La Salle and Drexel

ESPN+ to broadcast the city six matchup between the two women programs.

A City six matchup will be featured tonight on ESPN+, when the La Salle women’s soccer team hosts Drexel. The game will be La Salle’s third of the season with their last game against NJIT canceled.

Tonight’s game will be broadcast live at 7 p.m.

La Salle is 2-0 on the season and have scored 13 times in those games, which set a new record of most goals through two games for the program. Heading into Sunday’s game the Explorers are ranked third in the nation for scoring offense. It probably also helps that the team has 37 individual points. Fourteen of those points are shared between rookies Kelli McGroarty and Caitlin Donovan, who both have 7 points.

For Drexel, the Dragons come into the game with a 1-1 record. They only have two goals on the season. Both of them scored by different players, senior Maggie Daeche and redshirt freshman Anna Salvucci, who scored the golden goal in overtime to beat Villanova Drexel’s last time out. The only other point scorers for the Dragons are junior Lauren Currey and junior Marayo Adenegan. Currey and Adenegan both assisted in Drexel’s two goals.
