Kai Wagner collects third MLS Team of the Week honor of 2021
Wagner’s third appearance of the season came after collecting his seventh assist with a pin point cross to Sergio Santos in the second half in Toronto. Wagner’s pass was an important one as the goal drew the Union level with the Canadian side at 2-2. The left back led the Union with three key passes on the night while adding two won tackles and a pair of interceptions.

“We’re just leaving points on the board at such a crucial time,” the Union’s captain said after his team did so for the third time in 12 days.

Major League Soccer announces nominees for 2021 End of Year Awards
Major League Soccer on Thursday announced the nominees for the 2021 End of Year Awards and confirmed that voting is set to kick off on Friday, Oct. 29 (12 pm ET) and last through Monday, Nov. 8 (5 pm ET). MLS will release a list of finalists prior to the start of the 2021 MLS Cup Playoffs.
