The Philadelphia Union Academy U17 and U15 teams will also be hosting Nashville SC on Saturday down in Chester ahead of the evening first team match.
The U17s kick off at 10 a.m. followed by the U15s at noon at the Power Training Complex.
The U17s are looking to continue a strong run of form against MLS academy opponents since their 2-1 loss on a late penalty to Atlanta United in late September. They’ve had wins over Orlando City (5-1), New York Red Bulls (3-1) and New England Revolution (2-1) and have an overall W-D-L record of 7-2-1.
Marcello Mazzola scored the game winner in the second half against NYCFC at YSC Sports last Saturday off an assist from Logan Oliver.
Bajung Darboe added a second to complete a lovely attacking play with a combination with Luke Zeilinski in front of goal in the 2-0 win.
Goalkeeper Andrew Rick had the clean sheet. The U17s followed up the win against NYCFC with a 3-0 win the next day over PDA.
The U15s drew NYCFC 2-2 in a four-goal second half in the rain last Saturday (Diego Rocio scored from the penalty spot and Anthony Washington added a goal off a beautiful dummy in transition leading to the final pass) and followed it up with a 5-2 win over PDA the next day.
