Rate The U: Scoreless in the Buckeye State

Union continue to stuggle with scoring in Ohio

MLS: Philadelphia Union at FC Cincinnati Katie Stratman-USA TODAY Sports

Another trip to the Buckeye state and the Philadelphia Union is still scoreless. At least this time the U is leaving Ohio with a point. Overall, the boys in blue did not have the best offensive night as none of their 6 shots were on target. The closest shot for the boys was in the 78th minute when his shot skimmed off the back post.

As far as defense, the Union were physical and dominated on the time of possession with 56.5%. If I would say the one shinning star of the game was the depth of the back line. Each week it doesn’t really seem like an issue of who is on that line, as everyone continues to perform. Jakob Glesnes once again showed his passing ability with awesome long diagonal passes.
