When the regular season resumes later this month, the Philadelphia Union’s first match will be played in front of cardboard cutouts. That is right, like many other professional teams the U will be offering fans the chance to buy a cutout with proceeds going to the Philadelphia Union Foundation.

The Union announced each cutout will cost $40. If you want to spend an additional $10, you will have a chance to enter into a raffle for a VIP Suit Experience. The team also says not all sections and rows will be available. The cutouts will be placed at random; the team will also not guarantee that photos submitted together will be placed together. Proceeds from the cutouts will benefit both The Philadelphia Union Foundation and the Fight for Philly initiative.

After the season, you will be able to pickup your cutout on a scheduled day at Subaru Park. Season Ticket Members have an exclusive first opportunity to purchase fan cutouts of themselves that will be placed in seats throughout the stadium. You can order your cutout at this link. You have until 5 p.m. on Thursday August 20 to place your order.
