When you score what could end up being the goal of the season in the second game, it’s understandable that fans are going to give you high marks.
Glesnes, who scored an improbable goal from 35+ yards out and nearly recorded a brace when he got on the end of another long free kick and rattled the crossbar, earned an average 4.64 rating in our Community Player Ratings Poll from the LAFC game.
On the defensive side he did record 12 clearances and had a decent performance but Brenden Aaronson and Jose Andres Martinez also earned high enough marks that they could have topped the poll in another week. Sergio Santos and Andre Blake finished fourth and fifth respectively.
Ray Gaddis had the lowest rating at 2.944 and was the only player to receive a sub-3 average rating from the game. By contrast, only four players had a higher rating than 2.94 after the 2-0 loss to FC Dallas.
