Philadelphia Union fans will have to wait for the foreseeable future to cheer on the boy in blue at home, according to multiple reports online Thursday that Major League Soccer is suspending play.
Grant Wahl from Sports Illustrated, Pablo Maurer from The Athletic and others reported the news late Thursday morning citing sources.

The decision to suspend play would follow a decision by the NBA to suspend its season indefinitely on Wednesday night after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for the virus.
Nothing has been made official by the league and the Philadelphia Union have not released information about canceling Saturday’s home opener against San Jose Earthquakes but it looks increasingly more likely it won’t happen.
