The new home Philadelphia Union jersey for 2020 officially dropped on Wednesday night with Philadelphia Eagles running back Boston Scott showing off the new threads at an event in New York City.

The jersey, which has been coined Forever Faithful, has the adidas three stripe shoulder pattern that is honoring the league’s past as a way to celebrate the 25th season. The Union’s jersey also features a fain snake design on the front, the infinity snake logo on the back and a lower hem tag with the Latin phrase ad finem fidelis, which means faithful to the end.

“Each year’s kit gives us an opportunity to honor our history and pay homage to the unwavering support of our fans, the heartbeat of our club,” Doug Vosik, Philadelphia Union Chief Marketing Officer, said in a news release. “It is only natural that our design would draw inspiration from our faithful supporters, who wear the blue, the gold and the snake with pride. As an additional tribute to our fans, we also collaborated with the Sons of Ben to use their ‘ad finem fidelis’ motto to honor their legacy and never-ending support of this club.”
