The Philadelphia Union announced today that the club has agreed to a multi-year contract extension with forward Kacper Przybylko, which puts the forward under contract through the 2023 season.
Previously, Przybylko had a team option for 2021, and following his prolific 2019 season, which saw Przybylko tally 15 goals and 4 assists, the extension was most definitely deserved.
In the official press release, Ernst Tanner noted Przybylko is “among the most effective attackers in our league and combines size, skill, and tenacity in a unique way” and expressed the team’s belief in him moving forward.
This move, along with the extension of captain Ale Bedoya, are the kind of necessary roster decisions which are often overlooked, yet signal Tanner and Co. are already preparing the roster for years to come.
