A U.S. youth national team player from Harrisburg recently swapped the blue and gold of the Philadelphia Union for the orange and blue of FC Cincinnati.

Patrick Bohui left the Philadelphia Union Academy after the conclusion of the Union II season last month and has just recently joined FC Cincinnati’s academy, making his debut in MLS Next play on Sunday.

He scored two goals and added an assist in 9 appearances in the USL Championship this season with Union II after making 8 appearances in 2019.

The Ivory Coast-born 16-year-old has been called up for a number of United States Youth National Team camps, most recently for the U16 squad for the Nike Friendlies last November and was a prolific goal-scorer in the academy, scoring 35 goals over three seasons in Development Academy play.

Bohui is the second Union Academy player to join FC Cincinnati’s academy. Arnel Miscic, whose twin brother Selmir Miscic plays for Union II, joined FC Cincinnati last December.
