Aaronson, McKenzie and dos Santos called up for senior national team friendly against El Salvador

Philadelphia native CJ dos Santos will join former Philadelphia Union Academy teammates on the USMNT

Two Philadelphia Union players and a third from Philadelphia are among the 22 players who will be part of the USMNT roster for a friendly against El Salvador in Fort Lauderdale on December 9.

Mark McKenzie and Brenden Aaronson are in line to receive their second caps while Benfica goalkeeper CJ dos Santos would make his senior national team debut if he plays. All three were teammates in the Philadelphia Union Academy.

Kickoff for the USMNT’s first match at the home of Inter Miami CF in Fort Lauderdale is set for 7:30 p.m. ET, and the match will be broadcast live on an ESPN Network, UniMás and TUDN.
