Rate the U: Kacper is the man

The Friendly Striker topped our Community Player Rating poll for the second straight week

MLS: Atlanta United FC at Philadelphia Union Derik Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports

For the second straight week, Kacper the Friendly Striker topped our Community Player Ratings poll.

This should come as no surprise given Przybylko scored the game-winning goal again showed his ability to score the big goal and be involved in the attack throughout the night. Kacper edged out head coach Jim Curtin — who had the magic touch yet again with his lineup and substitution decisions — and Sergio Santos, who was the biggest surprise of the night when he came on and assisted Kacper’s game-winner and tacked on an important goal of his own two minutes later.

Haris Medunjanin, Kai Wagner, Brenden Aaronson, Mark McKenzie, Jamiro Monteiro, Ilsinho and Andre Blake all finished with ratings higher than 4, meaning they each had some fives filtered into the responses. Even Marco Fabian, who finished at the bottom of the ratings for the second straight week, had a respectable 3.42 average rating.
