Dominic Dubon and Marcelo Mazzola each had four goals in an 11-0 rout for the Philadelphia Union Academy U15s over DC United in a full slate of games against the MLS academy rivals at YSC Sports on Saturday.
The attacking duo of Dubon, a Maryland native and Mazzola had 42 goals between them for the U14 team last year and helped put on an impressive display against an overmatched DC side.

The Union had chances early but were kept off the board before 12-year-old phenom Aaron Heard opened the scoring in the 21st minute with his second goal of the season. Dylan Lacey double the advantage in the 29th minute and Dubon’s two goals and Mazzola’s first of the game made it 5-0 at the break.
The Union’s press and some poor defending on counter attacks led to six more goals in the second half as the U15s displayed what can happen when their ball hunting and transition game is clicking on all cylinders.
