Sunday is the big one. The United States Women’s National Team plays Netherlands in Lyon, France for the Women’s World Cup final. The defending champions are seeking a fourth World Cup in the eighth edition of the competition.
It’s a big day for global soccer, particularly for the U.S. Ten hours after the women take the field in Lyon, the USMNT plays Mexico in the Gold Cup final at Soldier Field. There’s also the Copa America final between Brazil and Peru kicking off at 4 p.m. ET.
Love City Brewing in the Callowhill neighborhood is hosting the “Trifecta of Champions” watch party for all three finals, but that’s just one of many watch party events happening the city and the region.
