Philadelphia Union Academy and Bethlehem Steel FC forward Jack de Vries will get another chance to impress the U.S. coaching staff ahead of the Under-17 World Cup this fall.

The 17-year-old was among 26 players to receive an invite from head coach Raphael Wicky for a training camp that will convene in Carson, Calif. on Friday.

De Vries was last with the team for the CONCACAF U17 Championship.

He’s made three appearances this season for Bethlehem Steel FC and had six goals last season in the Development Academy season while splitting time between the U17 and U19 teams. His golazo in the regular season finale for the Union U19s was voted a Development Academy top play.
