Dante Huckaby, Elle Kershner named to Development Academy Best XI

Two players from Philadelphia Union Academy and Penn Fusion Academy were recognized in Best XIs for the U.S. Soccer Development Academy.

West Virginia native Dante Huckaby was named to the Boys Best XI and Elle Kershner, of Limerick, Pa., received the honor for the Girls Best XI.

Huckaby, 16, starred at center back for the Union U17s this season, appearing in 17 games and also featured in five games for the U19s. He made his Bethlehem Steel FC debut on June 1.

Kershner, 17, led Penn Fusion’s U19 team in goals with 14 in 23 games this season. The Penn State commit had 14 goals for the U17s in 2017-2018.
