On what is surely one of the hottest game-nights in the history of Talen Energy Stadium, the Union welcome the Chicago Fire. The Fire enter Chester with the worst away record in MLS, having failed to win in all ten of their games away from home. The first-place Union have picked up only five points in their past five games. A win tonight would keep the Union atop the East for at least another week.
The Union’s injury report includes a league-high eight players. Jamiro Monteiro, Sergio Santos, Matt Freese, and Olivier Mbaizo are listed as out, while Ilsinho, Kai Wagner, Warren Creavalle, and Michee Ngalina have been deemed questionable. Chicago is the only team in MLS with a fully healthy squad.
