Rate the U: Kacper The Not So Friendly Striker

Kacper Pryzbylko was the highest rated player for both Orlando City FC games last week. Receiving an average rating of 4.82 for the July 3rd game in Orlando and then an average rating of 4.32 when the team played Orlando on Sunday night in Chester.

Kacper Pryzbylko (KATS-pehr Shuh-BILL-koh) is a 26-year-old physical striker from Bielefeld, Germany. He came to the Philadelphia Union in September 2018. He would be Ernst Tanner’s first official move as Sporting Director for the club. Kacper currently has 9 goals and 1 assist in the 2019 MLS season with only playing or appearing in 14 games.

Kacper has started to become the fan favorite striker and the man to rely on when the team needs a goal the most. Kacper scored the tying goal Sunday night with an assist from substitute Matt Real in the final moments of the match to make sure that the Philadelphia Union wouldn't leave the home pitch without a point toward the MLS Cup Playoff race. Philadelphia remains in the first place spot in the eastern conference.

Jamiro Monteiro (average rating of 4.6 in Orlando) and Matt Real (average rating of 4.14 in Chester) also came in highly rated in the community poll last week. Jamiro Monteiro notably was taken out of the game in Orlando when Sacha Kljestan tried to hold up Jamiro with the ball but tackled him late and injured Jamiro. Sacha would be red carded for this tackle and put Orlando down to 9 men.

At the bottom of the Community Polls, we will find Sergio Santos and Marco Fabian. Both players are entering a stretch of games where they are going to need to start showing their value to the team. Sergio received a 2.14 rating during the July 7th game last Sunday and Marco Fabian received an average rating of 2.64 last Wednesday.
