The Union look to go into the international break on a high note agains the New York Red Bulls

Updates

Full Time: What a huge win this was for the Union to come back from two down at the half. Ilsinho is indeed a cheat code. Massive result to send the Union into the international break with a hold of first half.

90’+1 Ball goes in the net but Monteiro was shown yellow for an intentional handball.

74’ Fafa Picault into the game for Sergio Santos. Former Union winger Marcus Epps checked in earlier for the Red Bulls.

72’ Ilsinho with the brace to put the Union in front off the rebound from Robles’ save on Monteiro’s penalty kick. It appeared as though Bedoya was offside on the play but the flag stayed down and his cross hit the arm of a Red Bulls defender.

61’ Less than a minute later, Ilsinho ties it up. Filthy. Just filthy.

60’ Ilsinho to Jamiro Monteiro to cut the lead in half. Ilsinho made a great hard run to the end line and crossed it to Monteiro for a first-time finish.

53’ Ilsinho checks into the game for Brenden Aaronson. Ilsinho goes to the right flank and Santos moves out wide in what looks like a 4-2-3-1.

51’ Daniel Royer with a chance to make it 3-0 but Andre Blake lays out with the save to keep the Union in this one.

42’ Brian White chips Andre Blake to make it 2-0 to the Red Bulls. Alex Muyl credited with the assist. White was part of the Philadelphia Union U17 squad that won the 2012 Generation adidas Cup with Jim Curtin as the coach.

29’ Kaku with a goal against the run of play to make it 1-0 to the visitors. Kyle Duncan with the assist from the right flank after Mark Rzatkowski played him into space.

19’ Sergio Santos with a chance on the break off another fine delivery from Bedoya but his shot hits the crossbar.

14’ Yellow card shown to Amro Tarek after he took down Kacper near midfield. He kicked up a chunk of grass in the process too.
