The regular season of the U.S. Soccer Development came to a close on Saturday for the Philadelphia Union with games against in-state rivals PA Classics at YSC Sports and the Higgins Soccer Complex at Villanova University.
The Union U13s won 5-1 behind goals from Dominic Wilson, Antonios Horozoglou, Henry Bernstein, Julian Ramirez and John Andrus to finish the season with a W-L-D record of 18-2-4. Nathanial Hovan had the lone goal for the visitors.
The Union U14s won 4-0 behind goals from Dominic Dubon, Marcelo Mazzola, Dylan Lacey and Miles Hood to finish the season 23-1-2.
The Union U15, U17 and U19 teams also won. All three teams will travel to San Diego later this month for the Development Academy playoffs. The U19s came from behind down to 10 men in the second half to secure a playoff spot.
