Updates
Full Time. Really dreadful result for the Union. A horrible PK call against Bedoya and some poor defending to allow two more goals after that and three total in the second half to lose 4-2.
78’ Castellanos walks right in through the box and chips Freese to make it 4-2 New York.
73’ Marco Fabian into the game for Picault
72’ Castellanos puts NYCFC in front with a goal off an assist from Moralez

65’ Matt Freese with a huge save on a curling effort from Alexandru Mitrita.
55’ Bedoya called for a penalty for an elbow to the face that never happened. Terrible call. Freese gets a hand to the Moralez attempt but it goes in and our game is tied 2-2.
47’ +2 Ilsinho’s day is done. He goes out after getting a yellow card for a dangerous play where he ended up getting kicked in the head. Replaced by Sergio Santos.
Have a go, Kacper Przybylko! #NYCvPHI pic.twitter.com/bscMxmrNrm

30’ Kacper puts the Union back in front on a rocketed half-volley off a pass back from Monteiro from an Ilsinho cross from near the end line. Great finish from the Friendly Striker and great work from Ilsinho to create the chance.
23’ Maximiliano Moralez converts the penalty right down the middle after Auston Trusty was whistled for a foul in the box on Valentín Castellanos. There wasn’t a lot in the penalty but enough that it wasn’t overturned by VAR. Trusty had help so the challenge — soft as it was — wasn’t needed.

19’ Eventful couple minutes. Monteiro played Kacper in on goal and he caught up to before the NYC keeper but his shot hit side netting and down the other end Jack Elliott saved a goal with a clearance off the line after it deflected off Matt Freese and was headed to the back of the net.
That touch. That turn. @Fafagoal23 makes it 1-0! #NYCvPHI pic.twitter.com/MWoYfGgfws

7’ Fafa Picault with the goal for the NYC native off the assist from Jamiro Monteiro. He did well to bring the pass down with chest, turn and fire the shot off for his second goal of the season. That’s his second goal in four games played in the Bronx.
