Medunjanin scored a must-see free kick goal against Minnesota

Goal was the fifth of Medunjanin’s Philadelphia Union career

MLS: Philadelphia Union at Minnesota United FC Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

Haris Medunjanin put an exclamation point on a wide open first half in Saint Paul, Minnesota today when he tagged a free kick to make it 2-1 to the visitors.

The goal was the fifth of the 34-year-old’s Philadelphia Union career and incredibly just the second time he scored from a free kick. It was also his first goal since July 11, 2018 when he scored on the road against the Chicago Fire. Four of his five goals have come on the road.

His one goal in Chester was that only other free kick goal.

Take a bow, Haris.
