After a five-day layoff and seemingly endless chatter about the number of goals Team USA scored against Thailand and how they celebrated every one of them like they were goals scored in a World Cup, the U.S. takes on Chile in their second group game of the tournament.
World Cup debutants Chile are coming off a 2-0 loss to Sweden, which plays Thailand in the first game today at 9 a.m.
It will be interesting to see what head coach Jill Ellis does with the lineup coming off five days rest.
Will she work in some different players or stick with the big guns that dropped 10 goals in the second half against Thailand after a 3-0 lead at halftime? Sweden awaits for the final group stage match on Thursday.
