The Philadelphia Union remain top of the Eastern Conference table after going to Toronto and defeating them 2-1 on Saturday.
The win came thanks to goals created by Fafa Picault (own goal) and Jamiro Monteiro. The goal was Monteiro’s second of the season and first from the run of play and would have been Picault’s second had the official scorer been a little more generous.
This was a good overall team win. Even though he didn’t score a goal, Kacper Przybylko had a great offensive game recording an assist and two shots on goal. Jack Elliott had a huge blocked shot in the defense and Kai Wagner was all over the place and set up the first goal with a cross.
Some miscommunication was also noticed in the defense for the Union on Saturday. There were a few times that goalkeeper Carlos Miguel Coronel miscommunicated with his back line while going up for the ball.
How would you rate the Union’s individual performances from last Saturdays game?
