The Philadelphia Union traveled to Vancouver on Saturday evening to face the Whitecaps and play FC Cincinnati at home to come away with four points toward the playoff race to take first place in the Eastern Conference.
Kacper Przybylko scored his first MLS goal for the Union in the 63rd minute, equalizing the game for the Union. Matt Freese also started in net over Coronel, who many thought would be the next man up. Coronel will be subbed in for Freese on Wednesday evening after Freese suffered an abdominal injury in the first half of the game against FC Cincinnati
Olivier Mbaizo also had his first start for the season on Saturday since Kai Wagner is serving a red card suspension for both games against Cincinnati and Vancouver.
