This year’s edition of the adidas x Parley for the Oceans jersey the Philadelphia Union will be wearing on April 20 was so popular it took only two hours sell out on MLSStore.com.

The Union officially unveiled the jerseys made from recycled ocean plastic on Thursday with photos and a video of Alejandro Bedoya, Mark McKenzie and Fafa Picault sporting the light blue jerseys at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens.

Their opponent for their home game against Montreal Impact on April 20 will wear a navy blue Parley jersey.

The league’s partnership with Parley for the Oceans — part of an effort to highlight MLS’ commitment to environmental sustainability — dates back to 2015 but this will be the third year jerseys are worn to celebrate Earth Day. The Union first wore one of the Parley jerseys last season when they wore a white jersey for their game at FC Dallas.

Though the jerseys are sold out on the MLS store, fans will have additional opportunities to get one at a community cleanup event with rapper Asher Roth this Sunday, a kit launch party at Bloomingdale’s King of Prussia next Wednesday or at the Union shop (opening at 11 a.m.) the day of the game.

More details about those events are available on the Union website.
