A dozen players are guaranteed for 2020, five others are out of contract and 11 have options available, the Philadelphia Union announced on Thursday.
Veterans Aurelien Collin, Ilsinho and Haris Medunjanin are all out of contract along with Fafa Picault and Jamiro Monteiro’s loan is expiring.
The players guaranteed for 2020 include Brenden Aaronson, Alejandro Bedoya, Andre Blake, Jack de Vries, Jack Elliott, Matt Freese, Raymon Gaddis, Kacper Przybylko, Sergio Santos, Cole Turner, Kai Wagner and Andrew Wooten.
The 11 players with options available that the team will decide to either exercise or decline, include RJ Allen, Joe Bendik, Cory Burke, Warren Creavalle, Marco Fabian, Anthony Fontana, Olivier Mbaizo, Mark McKenzie, Michee Ngalina, Matt Real and Auston Trusty.
Update: Fabinho was left off the initial list sent by the club. He makes 12 players with options available.
The deadline for the club to exercise options is November 21.
