For the fourth straight year, the Power Training Complex in Chester hosted the first leg of qualifying for the Generation adidas Cup, an annual competition organized by MLS that pits MLS academy teams against international youth clubs invited to the finals event in Frisco, Texas every spring.
The Philadelphia Union were joined this year by U17 and U15 teams from Real Salt Lake, Inter Miami CF, D.C. United, New York Red Bulls and New England Revolution for games on the training fields on Friday, Saturday and Monday.
