The Richmond Kickers are returning to Pennsylvania for a fourth time this season to face the Philadelphia Union in a U.S. Open Cup fourth round match on either June 5 or 6.

The Kickers have lost twice in league play to Bethlehem Steel FC at Goodman Stadium (by 4-1 and 3-1 scores), but advanced on penalties in the second round of the Open Cup against Reading United at Alvernia University their last trip up earlier this month.

The Union have never faced the Kickers, which knocked off Penn FC at home Wednesday night with a 3-2 win.

The blue and gold hosted the Harrisburg City Islanders in their first game in the competition three of the last four years and have also hosted Ocean City Nor’easters and Rochester Rhinos in their first game in the competition in previous years.

The Union will be coming off a road trip to Atlanta on June 2 and have a Friday night game at Talen Energy Stadium on June 8.
