Union vs. Montreal Impact: Preview, projected lineups, how to watch

The Union will go again on the road this afternoon.

MLS: Montreal Impact at Philadelphia Union Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Another day, another away game for the Union, who complete their eight-day, three-game road trip this afternoon in Montreal. They’ve come up with nothing on the road so far this season, so any points taken from the Impact would come as a pleasant surprise at this point.

The Impact currently sit eighth in the Eastern Conference, one point and one place above the Union. They’ve managed three wins on the year, but they’ve lost their other seven games, resulting in their league-worst goal differential of -10.

Though only one of those losses has come at home, there is hope for the Union, whose road winless streak stretched to a league-worst (or league-best, if you’re an optimist) 16 games this week. The Impact are similarly struggling, and they too are on short rest, having lost on the road on Wednesday night as well.

Projected Lineups

Montreal Impact: Evan Bush; Michael Petrasso, Rod Fanni, Jukka Raitala, Daniel Lovitz; Alejandro Silva, Samuel Piette, Saphir Taider; Raheem Edwards, Anthony Jackson-Hamel, Ignacio Piatti
