The Philadelphia Union surrendered their first goal of the season and then allowed two more to Dominique Badji to drop their first match of the season in their first game outside Chester this season on Saturday night in Commerce City, Colorado.
There was a lot not to like about how the team performed as a whole in the second half, but there were some bright spots in the first half when the Union were on the front foot. Andre Blake also made a key save and Matthew Real, who made his MLS debut as the starting left back in place of the injured Fabinho, blocked a goal-bound shot on the rebound.
Let us know with an upvote or downvote what you thought of the performance of the 11 starters, the three players subbed in off the bench and head coach Jim Curtin, who hasn’t coached the Union to a win away from home since May 14, 2017.
