After getting a glimpse when new designated player David Accam arrived in Philadelphia wearing it on Sunday, it appears as though a full look of the new Philadelphia Union home jersey was leaked on Monday.
Union Kit Leaks posted this photo on Twitter.
Not sure I like it, but it’s a little different that’s for sure pic.twitter.com/yXGHtrC7MU

The most noticeable aspect of it is of course the hoops and the absence of the thick gold stripe down the center of the shirt, a staple since the club’s inception in 2010.
What wasn’t visible when Accam was wearing it - he had a zippered sweatshirt on over top - were the placement of the Union and adidas logos and the three gold adidas stripes on each shoulder. The gold strips on the each sleeve were also not visible.
The Union have been teasing the jersey for weeks, incorporating aspects of the hoops in their website design and social media graphics while also publishing photos/videos of three academy players - Nyk Sessock, Kris Shakes and AJ Cousins - seeing it for the first time and Josh Yaro opening his jacket to reveal the shirt to the Philadelphia Union staff.
