As someone who has never seen Game of Thrones, I’m on some level happy for those fans to come to Talen Energy Stadium and dress in medieval garb or whatever the characters in GoT do. As someone who is no longer a Sons of Ben member, I’m also on some level happy that the Sons of Ben will get more recognition from the club they helped found.
As someone who is not LGBTQIA but instead a lifelong ally, I’m absolutely thrilled the Union are finally having a Pride Night. I’m glad the Union are able to celebrate their LGBTQIA fans and bring others into the fold. By hosting Pride Night, the Union organization is saying loud and clear “You are welcome here” to all people in the area regardless of their sexual orientation.
