Reading United returned to the win column with a dominant 2-0 win over FA Euro on Saturday with Philadelphia Union Academy grad Mo Conde scoring the game-winner in first half stoppage time.
Conde (Philadelphia, Pa.) got on the end of captain Hugo Delhommelle’s corner kick to give Reading a 1-0 lead going into the break and Delhommelle got the benefit of a deflection to add an insurance goal midway through the second half.
Coastal Carolina goalkeeper Alex Bouillennec recorded the clean sheet without having to make a save in his Reading United debut. Union Academy grads Lamine Conte (Philadelphia, Pa.), Robert Campbell (Wallingford, Pa.) and Zach Zandi (West Chester, Pa.) joined Conde in the starting lineup. Academy grad Raheem Taylor-Parkes played a minute off the bench.

Ocean City Nor’easters 1 New York Red Bulls U23 3
Ocean City suffered their first loss of the season to first place New York Red Bulls U23, which have won three out of three to start the season.
Rider University standout Jose Aguinaga had his second of the season, Philadelphia Union Academy alum Brian White his third from the spot and Red Bulls Academy grad Juan Sanchez rounded out the scoring for the home side. Villanova defender Sean Teixeira recorded an assist on the third goal.
Ignacio Tellechea had the lone goal for Ocean City, his third of the season.

Buxmont Torch 3 Hershey FC 2
Buxmont picked up their first win of the season in NPSL play on the road against Keystone Conference rival Hershey FC on Saturday.
Philip Shafer and David Shafer put the Torch up 2-0 going into the break with goals in the 6th and 42nd minutes but second half substitutes Joel Teston and Tyler Witmer (Wernersville, Pa.) pulled the home side even with goals in the 53rd and 74th minutes.
Second half substitute Pedro Sousa broke the tie in the 79th minute to even the Torch’s record at 1-1-0 on the season. Hershey FC fell to 0-2-0 on the year.
