A pair of MLS Academy opponents and another from Liga MX await the Philadelphia Union Academy U16 team at the Generation adidas Cup finals in Frisco, Texas.
The Union will be competing in Group B of the Premier Division bracket after missing out on the Championship Division with a 2-2-2 record in qualifying.

The Championship Division will feature two-time defending champs River Plate and fellow international invitees Real Madrid, Independent del Valle, Flamengo, Eintracht Frankfurt, Malaga, Club Tijuana and Estudiantes de la Plata.
